We live in an age of chronic stress, overwhelm and anxiety. Embodied Rest is the antidote.
Embodied Rest is a practice of conscious relaxation to restore the body and mind to its natural state of health and equilibrium.
If you find it hard to wind down, if you’re stressed, anxious or overwhelmed, Embodied Rest is for you.
If you’re a Highly Sensitive Person, trying to live in this crazy busy world of ours, Embodied Rest is for you.
If you’re having trouble getting to sleep, or if you’re waking in the night, Embodied Rest is for you.
If you’re adrenally fatigued, burnt out, or post-natally depleted, Embodied Rest is for you.
This deeply restorative and life changing practice is for you if you’re ready to s l o w d o w n and listen to the wisdom of your body.
Embodied Rest draws on the great traditions of mindfulness, iRest Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and pranayama, to bring you to a place of deep rest and relaxation.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN iREST YOGA NIDRA AND EMBODIED REST?
Embodied Rest and iRest Yoga Nidra are similar in that they’re both usually practiced lying down in a supported and comfortable position.
iRest Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice developed by Clinical Psychology and Yogic Scholar Richard Miller. In an iRest class with me, I spend about half the class talking about the theme of the class and facilitating a discussion, and half the class guiding you through a meditation practice.
Embodied Rest is a deep relaxation practice that I developed myself after years of teaching yoga, meditation and relaxation, that draws on the teachings and practices of iRest, mindfulness, Restorative Yoga, and pranayama (breath training). There is very minimal talking in the class and luxury of spacious deep relaxation.
